# Lightmile Run Club

> Lightmile is a free, community-led run club in Eindhoven, the Netherlands, open to expats and locals at every pace. Our message is: moving minds, together.

## Who runs it

Kos started Lightmile in June 2024. The name came first. Everything else came from the people who turned up. Ana joined as a runner in 2025 and stayed to help run it. They run it together now, with one aim: make it the best run in Eindhoven for whoever shows up.

## Regular runs

Every week, all year. Wednesday at 19:30 from The Social Hub, Saturday at 10:00 from Runnersworld Eindhoven, and Sunday at 09:00 from Ketelhuisplein.

- Wednesday 19:30, from The Social Hub, Eindhoven. 5 km or 8 km. All paces welcome.
- Saturday 10:00, from Runnersworld Eindhoven. 5 km. All paces welcome.
- Sunday 09:00, from Ketelhuisplein, Eindhoven. Builds week by week. All paces welcome.

Nobody rushes off at the end. Most of us stick around together: coffee after the morning runs, a drink after the Wednesday evening one. The miles are the reason we show up; what comes after is why we stay.

## Frequently asked

- Is Lightmile free? Yes, always. There is no membership and no fee. Just bring yourself and your shoes.
- Do I need to be fast to join? Not at all. Every pace has company and no one is left behind. Saturday is a relaxed 5 km, and there is always someone to run with, wherever you are in the pack.
- When and where do you run? Three times a week: Wednesday at 19:30 from The Social Hub, Saturday at 10:00 from Runnersworld Eindhoven, and Sunday at 09:00 from Ketelhuisplein. Routes and any changes are posted on Strava and Instagram.
- I have just moved to Eindhoven. Can I join? Absolutely. Lightmile is a runclub in Eindhoven for expats and locals alike, and many of us arrived here from somewhere else. It is one of the easiest ways to meet people in the city.
